What goes into the fire

Five firings, one weekend.

Every material, glaze and combustible is provided. Open a firing to see what goes in, what comes out, and how to prepare your pots for it.

The programme

Friday afternoon to Sunday lunch.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are on the table all weekend. In the heat of summer we fire early in the morning and late into the night, and rest in between.

From the fire

In their own words.

01 / 03
The Raku and pit fire three-day workshop offered an intense, focused introduction to unconventional, high-risk, high-reward techniques. The programme was exceptionally well organised and delivered. I highly recommend it.
